Apparently the 6 (mines a 2014) has a Aisin Warner AW6A-EL transmission. They typically cause a firmer, harder shift (which is better for the trans, although this is counter intuitive to most who think shifting should be smooth and soft) and not sure how that would feel in a front driver.Īnyway, a couple observations.

Has anybody installed transgo part number SK AWF21 shift kit? I'm a fan of these kits as they improve the performance and lifetime of auto trannys, but Ive never installed one in a front wheel drive car.
